田永鸿教授

田永鸿:男,现任北京大学信息科学技术学院博雅特聘教授,国家杰出青年基金获得者,兼任鹏城实验室人工智能中心副主任。主要研究方向为视频大数据分析与处理、视觉神经信息编码与识别、机器学习与计算机视觉。累计主持国家自然科学基金重点/面上/青年项目、863计划等国家、省部及企业合作科研项目30余项,并获霍英东青年教师基金优选资助。迄今为止发表学术论文170余篇,其中国际期刊论文60余篇(以第一作者或通讯作者在ACM Computing Surveys、IJCV、IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TNNLS/TPDS/TCSVT/TMM、ACM TOIS/TOMM等国际期刊)和NIPS/ICCV/CVPR/AAAI等顶级论文10余篇,获2015年欧洲信号处理学会JIVP期刊最佳论文奖和2018年IEEE多媒体大数据国际会议(BigMM)最佳论文奖。获国家发明专利60余项,并获2017年国家技术发明二等奖(排名第2)、2010年国家科技进步二等奖(排名第6)、2015年中国电子学会技术发明一等奖(排名第1)、2016年中国专利优秀奖(排名第1)和2009年高等学校科技进步一等奖(排名第3),是首届高校计算机专业优秀教师奖励计划获奖者。带领团队在2010年和2011年TRECVID近似视频拷贝检测比赛(TRECVID-CCD)中获总体第一,在TRECVID监控视频事件自动检测比赛(TRECVID-SED)中连续四年(2009-2012)成为最佳性能团队之一,在IEEE多摄像机行人检测与跟踪评测(PETS2012)中获第一名,在2008年ImageCLEF图像检索国际比赛中获得WikipediaMM任务第一名。(曾)担任国际期刊IEEE TCSVT、IEEE TMM、IEEE Multimedia和IEEE Access编委,IEEE ICME 2015、IEEE BigMM 2015、IEEE ISM 2015和IEEE MIPR 2018/2019程序委员会共同主席,并任ACM MM 2009等十余个国际会议组委会成员,以及IEEE CVPR/ICCV、ACM KDD/MM等顶级国际会议程序委员会委员。

主讲北京大学信息学院本/研专业基础课《机器学习理论与实践》、本科生主干基础课《程序设计实习》,参与专业课《数字媒体技术基础》的授课等。

国际性竞赛获奖

[1] 在2010年和2011年带领团队在TRECVID近似视频拷贝检测比赛(简称TRECVID-CCD)获得总体第一。该比赛由美国标准化技术研究所(NIST)主办,从2008年到2011年共举办4次。参赛队伍来自法国INRIA、美国AT&T实验室、IBM T.J. Watson研究中心等22所国内外一流高校和研究所。以第一性能评价指标Act. NDCR(即虚警率和漏警率的加权,越低越好)计,申请者团队的成绩如下:

  • 2011年:在56种音视频变形情况下,在均衡档获得了34项第一名,而在无虚警档获得了31项第一名。
  • 2010年:在56种音视频变形情况下,在均衡档获得了39项第一名,而在无虚警档获得了52项第一名。

[2]自2009年起连续四年带领团队在TRECVID监控视频事件自动检测比赛(简称TRECVID-SED)获得优异成绩,是所有参赛队伍中成绩最好的队伍之一。该比赛同样由美国标准化技术研究所(NIST)主办,任务是评测大规模机场监控视频数据上的事件检测性能(第一评价指标为Act. NDCR,去除无任何正检的情况,越低越好),其中:

  • 2012年共有CMU-IBM联队、加州大学圣芭芭拉分校、都柏林大学等12只参赛队伍,申请者团队参加全部7项事件自动检测任务,其中3项排第一、2项排第二、2项排第三,是唯一一只所有任务均进入前三名的队伍;
  • 2011年共有CMU、东京工大、日本NHK实验室、加拿大CRIM等9只参赛队伍,申请者团队参加7项事件检测任务中的5项,其中2项排第一、2项排第二;
  • 2010年共有CMU、英国伦敦大学玛丽皇后学院、加拿大西蒙菲莎大学、东京工大、法国INRIA、日本NHK实验室等11只参赛队伍,申请者团队参加7项事件检测任务中的4项,其中2项排第一、1项排第二;
  • 2009年共有CMU、NEC-UIUC联队、加拿大西蒙菲莎大学、东京工大、日本NHK实验室等11只参赛队伍,申请者团队参加10项事件检测任务中的5项,其中4项排第一。

[3]2012年带领团队获得IEEE多摄像机行人检测与跟踪评测(PETS2012)中第一名。参赛队伍包括法国INRIA、瑞士日内瓦大学等5只队伍。申请者团队的算法在单视检测、多视检测与跟踪方面都排名第一,优于其他参赛队。
